Welcome back! It has been fantastic to see your smiling faces and have our school full of chat and laughter (and learning of course! 😉)
We know that being back together again will come with difficulties at times, especially when we have spent so much time apart. To help ease any frustrations we will be learning new methods of calming and regulating big, tricky emotions every day in class and your teachers will be blogging these so you can share them at home and use them with your families too. Us grown ups get those big, tricky emotions too so these methods are there to help everyone. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities as well as learning the science behind how and why they can help us.
Make sure you share the great work you are doing on regulating tricky emotions and calming big sensations in your bodies so that you can be happy and healthy both in school and at home.
We are so very proud of you all and I look forward to seeing all of your work on well-being and hearing all about the methods that work best for you! 🌈
